Modular Snap Tools Pro — precision placement for Blender ($19.99)

Stop nudging objects by eye. A focused placement toolkit for Blender 4.5 LTS and 5.2 LTS: one-click snapping presets, exact bbox alignment, even distribution, stacking, snap-to-contact, ground drops, reference grids and on-screen measurement — all from one clean N-panel.

SNAPPING PRESETS (8)

Snap Off, Grid Increment, Grid Absolute, Vertex, Edge + Midpoint, Face (with rotation alignment), Midpoint, Perpendicular. Each preset applies the correct Blender snap settings instantly; the panel shows which preset is live (or "Custom" when you change a setting). Per-axis grid rounding lets you round the selection to your own X/Y/Z increments — something Blender's built-in snap can't do per axis. Works on objects and on selected mesh vertices in Edit mode.

ALIGN, DISTRIBUTE, STACK

Align selected objects on X/Y/Z using bbox Min / Center / Max — first selected object is the reference. Distribute with an exact gap between bounding boxes. Stack in selection order along + or - axis with exact spacing. World-space math, so parented and rotated objects behave correctly.

CONTACT & DROP

Snap to Contact: move the active object along an axis until it exactly touches the target — bbox-exact, with an optional evaluated-geometry raycast mode that lands on the real surface (falls back to bbox automatically on a miss or overlap). Ground Drop: drop objects to the Z=0 plane or raycast down onto the surface below them.

GRIDS & MEASURE

Edge-only reference grids with custom cell size and divisions. Measure any two objects: center distance, per-axis deltas and clear bbox gaps, shown right in the panel. World-space dimension readouts for the selection.

QUALITY

165 automated checks pass on Blender 4.5.14 and 5.2.2; the exact buyer ZIP was also fresh-installed and workflow-tested on clean profiles (15/15 on both versions). Install: Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install from Disk, pick the ZIP, enable "Modular Snap Tools Pro". The panel appears in the 3D Viewport sidebar (N) under "Snap Tools".

HONEST LIMITATIONS

Contact snap, align, distribute, stack and ground drop work on whole objects in Object mode (not on individual Edit-mode vertices — only grid rounding supports Edit mode). Raycast contact needs a mesh target with evaluated geometry; it falls back to bbox math automatically when the ray misses or objects overlap. Stack and distribute use bounding-box math; for rotated objects the world-space bbox is used. Align uses the first selected object as the reference.
